Profile
Fengguang Liu, Ph.D., Research Professor.
I received my Ph.D. in materials science from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2014, and then engaged in postdoctoral research in Howard Dennis Drew's research group in the Department of Physics of the University of Maryland (UMD) in United States. In 2024, I joined the Laboratory of Atomic-scale and Micro & Nano Manufacturing of the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences (NIMTE, CAS).
Research Interests:
1. Surface interface construction and singular properties of thin film materials, magnetoelectric interface coupling control and prototype device preparation;
2. Nanocluster interface design and defect control, special device packaging, radiation resistance, friction resistance and other extreme environment applications;
3. Preparation and high-tech application research of other special nanocrystalline films.
Reviewer of Some Academic Journals:
Journal of Alloys and compounds, Advanced Materials,Physical Review B, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces.
Projects & Achievements:
In recent years, I have participated in the United States Department of Energy (DOE), the National Natural Science Foundation of United States (NSF), the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the provincial key research and development program, and the innovation and entrepreneurship support program for returnees. I has published more than 30 SCI papers in CEJ, PRB, APL, AM and other journals, applied for 20 domestic and foreign invention patents, trained 6 master's and doctoral students (including joint training), and won the first prize of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Maker China" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (ranked 1st).
